Salary Range:
The full pay range for the Tech 3 is: $22.69 to $47.74 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $30.00 to $36.00 per hour. The full pay range for the Tech 4 is: $29.00 to $48.00 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $34.00 to $40.00 per hour.

We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.

We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals for roles ranging from experienced Technician 3 to expert Technician 4 to perform maintenance, repair, and operational activities on utility-scale renewable energy assets, including wind turbines, Photovoltaic (PV) power systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Candidates will be placed at the level commensurate with their experience, qualifications, and successful completion of internal competency standards.

Each Renewable Energy Technician will attend a mandatory 3-4 week training and certification course at the start of their employment. The exact duration will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The training is in Albert Lea, MN, and travel, accommodation, and expenses will be provided.

This position is onsite in Kitszmiller, MD.

The level of autonomy, technical complexity, and leadership responsibility distinctly separates the three technician roles.

Technician 2 (Experienced):
Performs preventative maintenance independently and conducts routine troubleshooting, repairs, and minor upgrades. Responsible for independent preventative maintenance. Participates in the 24-hour "On Call" rotation.

Technician 3 (Senior):
Performs unsupervised routine and corrective maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and leads teams on routine tasks. Unsupervised execution of all corrective/preventative maintenance. May train and oversee Techs 1 & 2.

Technician 4 (Expert/Lead):
Performs unsupervised advanced corrective and preventative maintenance and leads major repairs. Acts as a subject matter expert (SME). Trains and signs off on the competency of Techs 1-3. Assists with overseeing site crews/contractors in manager absence.
