Control Room Operator

Constellation Energy is seeking a Control Room Operator to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our energy generation and distribution systems. In this 24/7 control room role, you will monitor SCADA and plant equipment, respond to alarms, adjust system parameters, and coordinate with field technicians to maintain system stability and compliance. You'll document events, support start-up and shutdown procedures, and follow strict safety and regulatory protocols while contributing to Constellation's sustainability and innovation goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SCADA and control systems to ensure safe, reliable energy generation and distribution.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions, taking corrective actions per procedures.
• Adjust system parameters and equipment settings to maintain optimal performance and stability.
• Coordinate with field technicians, maintenance, and operations teams during routine and emergency events.
• Execute and support plant start-up, shutdown, and switching procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, event records, and operational reports.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards, including NERC-related requirements.
• Participate in drills, training, and continuous improvement initiatives for control room operations.
