Position: Solutions Architect/Systems Engineer (FSP)

Our client is a pioneering Privacy Enhancing Technology company protecting Data in Use to enable secure search, sharing, and collaboration. Their privacy-preserving Zero Reveal solutions allow organizations to securely use third-party data assets without revealing the contents of the search itself or compromising the security/ownership of the underlying data.

Job description

Their Solutions Architects design, integrate and deploy their products and solutions in customer environments, lead customer engagements, and resolve technical support requests. The Solutions Architects also help follow a solution from cradle to grave with helping to shape sales motions. This role is an exciting and dynamic technical position within the Customer Success Team. As their Solutions Architect, you will advocate for various missions and help break down silos in government and commercial work spaces.

You will sit between the customer and engineering, translating customer requirements into engineering tasks, breaking down technical jargon in order to mold and shape the delivery so that it answers the customers actual need and solves their problem. You will grow every day by learning pioneering technologies, gaining exposure to successful startup culture, and working with other high performers

They are looking for full-time, fully cleared Solutions Architects to help meet rapidly growing demand for their product suite. A signing bonus and retention bonus is offered with this position.

What you'll get to do
  • Conceptualize and architect the details of delivery to customers, including:
    • use-case architecture
    • queries
    • data schema
    • documentation
    • other requirements
  • Engage with strategic partners to architect integrated product solutions and features
  • Lead and develop lightweight customer validation exercises to include deploying Zero Reveal using Ansible.
  • Provide an authoritative voice to represent Company engineering thought process and domain expertise for delivery and sales motions
    • Decompose customer requirements into necessary engineering tasks and work with engineering to plan tickets to implement and meet those tasks
    • Be a customer advocate: drive customer feedback into support and engineering
    • Help transition products and features from Engineering to Sales
    • Help field technical customer questions with the Sales team.
  • Be a technical voice of the Company, representing them to customers and customers to the engineering team
What you need to be successful
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An active TS//SCI security clearance with a full scope polygraph
  • 5+ years experience as a solutions architect, engineer, and/or devops engineer
  • B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science or other Engineering fields
  • Willingness to travel - 25% of the time (Local travel in the Washington Metro area, CONUS, and OCONUS)
  • Willingness to work in a SCIF as needed to meet with customers and satisfy delivery requirements (25 - 50%)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to work on a highly collaborative team, think on your feet, and handle live customer calls.
  • Desire and ability to learn new technical skills, quickly and constantly
  • Familiarity or experience with diverse technical topics including:
    • Query languages
    • Data storage technologies/ database design
    • Cloud Dev Ops and Cloud services (for example: Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation; AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
    • Designing system architecture
    • Linux system administration
    • Software languages such as Java and/or Python
    • Machine learning
    • Security architecture and Security-oriented software development (especially on Linux)
    • ETL on distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
