Diagnostic Technician 1st and 2nd shift
We currently have an opening for 1st and 2nd Shift Diagnostic Technicians in our Clarksburg, MD Campus. Diagnostic Technicians will report to the Manager of Manufacturing. First shift hours are 5:00 am–2:30 pm. Second shift hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am. Second shift candidates must be able to train on first shift for 2–4 weeks.
Responsibilities- Test and inspect basic electrical and electronic sub-assemblies and assemblies across all product lines and program firmware.
- Perform technical responsibilities on assigned line with a high degree of proficiency.
- Troubleshoot digital and RF/mixed signal assemblies to the subassembly component level using schematics and diagrams, including naval publications and engineering blueprints.
- Set up and operate a wide variety of test equipment to include DMMs, voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and wave generators, etc.
- Program firmware on boards and on individual Integrated Circuits.
- Run most tests in factory, properly connect test equipment, determine if stack or product is having issues and keep manager informed of stack and product issues.

- U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- 2 Year Degree in Electronic Technology or other related field.
- Must have 2 to 4 years manufacturing electro/mechanical test experience.
- Computer Skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP S/4/Hana experience preferred.
- Experience with electronics, radio test requirements and have a working knowledge of surface mount technology.
- Must be proficient in RF testing knowledge.
- Understand ERP System.
- Ability to understand basic digital electronic signals, power supply circuitry; frequency and wave signals and circuits; and basic control signal and circuits.
- Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specification control drawing & source control drawing.
- Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English.
- Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
The hourly pay range for this role is $23.63 - $30.19 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%.
Once training on 1st shift is successfully completed, the employee will transition to 2nd shift and become eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above.
