Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater Treatment

We are looking for a talented Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager focused on the planning and engineering design of wastewater infrastructure projects. You will primarily work on wastewater-related projects, collaborating with a wide range of technical disciplines.

Our Water and Wastewater experience includes over 900 treatment plants, from large and complex to small, remote communities. We have expertise in advanced treatment, automation/information management, nutrient recovery, odor control, operations and management evaluation, process review and optimization, and reclamation and reuse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
• Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins and develop long-lasting client relationships
• Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule
• Perform complex engineering design tasks on assigned wastewater-related projects
• Assist with the management of design and construction of projects
• Develop project management plans for projects and establish goals and objectives
• Conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects

Capabilities and Credentials:

• Inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement
• Engage employees in discussions on job satisfaction and engagement and provide ongoing recognition and feedback
• Ability to perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations
• Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for wastewater projects
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
