Work Type: 100% On-Site (No Remote Work)
Travel: Limited / Occasional
Clearance: Active Secret (or higher) – required
Employment Type: Full-Time
Program: CI&IDS / Combat Identification (IFF)
Salary Range: $160,000 – $182,000 annually (DOE)
Position Overview
Advantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership in support of the CI&IDS (Combat Identification) program. This role is fully government on-site at St. Inigoes, MD
, supporting IFF integration, testing, certification, and system analysis
.
- Lead complex electrical engineering efforts on-site
- Design, integrate, test, and evaluate IFF / / ATC systems
- Develop certification artifacts and technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Interface directly with government engineering and program leadership
- Support acquisition, CM, and QA activities
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of electrical/electronic engineering experience
- At least 4 years supporting DoD / DON programs
- Experience with Combat Identification systems such as:
- Centralized IFF
- Interrogator Sets
- Digital Interrogators
- Transponder Systems
- NCTR / SARTIS
- Active Secret clearance
- Prior Pax River / NAVAIR on-site experience
- Strong systems engineering and integration background
