The OpportunityCACI is seeking a proactive System Engineer to support the operations and sustainment of a Zero Trust Architecture. The ideal candidate will create and maintain documentation for FVEY Network Support Plans (NSP’s) and 2P partners, with a focus on Data Tagging within an Attribution Based Access Control (ABAC) model. Serving as an ambassador to the IC Community and other partners, the engineer will work collaboratively or independently to resolve user issues promptly.
The role requires familiarity with standard system engineering documentation, the ability to lead, organize, and schedule Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM’s) with internal and external entities, and a working knowledge to troubleshoot user issues and report information effectively. Understanding network protocols, proxies, and firewalls is essential. Additionally, the candidate will participate in making process improvement recommendations to enhance usability and accessibility for stakeholders, aiming to make 2
PGW processes more intuitive and indispensable to the user community.
- Maintain and support the Zero Trust Architecture.
- Ensure the smooth operation and sustainment of the system.
- Create and maintain documentation to support FVEY Network Support Plans (NSP’s) and 2P partners.
- Develop documentation that describes the inner workings of the 2
PGW. - Ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of individual components within the system.
- Implement and support Data Tagging within a data-centric Attribution Based Access Control (ABAC) model.
- Ensure the ABAC model is effectively integrated and functioning as intended.
- Serve as an Ambassador to the IC Community and other partners.
- Represent the team and system in a professional and confident manner.
- Work collaboratively with the team, users, customers, and community partners.
- Operate independently when necessary to solve user issues in a timely manner.
- Lead, organize, and schedule Technical Exchange Meetings with internal and external entities.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration during TEM’s.
- Utilize working knowledge to troubleshoot user issues.
- Report information in a meaningful and actionable way to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate understanding of network protocols, proxies, and firewalls.
- Apply this knowledge to support and improve system functionality.
- Participate in making process improvement recommendations.
- Aim to increase the usability and accessibility of the 2
PGW for stakeholders.
- Improve 2
PGW processes to be more intuitive and indispensable to the user community. - Focus on enhancing the user experience from the lens of a user.
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional System Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Possess a working knowledge of some of the following technical areas:
System/Network Architecture;
Ability to analyze access and security protocols;
Cross Domain Solutions and services; IC IE Solutions;
Operation of forward/ reverse proxies;
Firewall and network security - Technical problem-solving skills
