Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The ideal candidate will influence national strategies and policies by guiding decisions on integrating next-generation technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), satellite navigation, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Whether you're supporting safety validation efforts or leading teams on major FAA programs, your work will directly impact the millions of passengers and aviation professionals who rely on safe, efficient airspace operations every day.

In this position, you will:
* Collaborate with leading experts in government, academia, and industry to address some of the most complex challenges in modern aviation.

* Contribute to critical research programs at premier facilities such as the William J. Hughes Technical Center, where cutting-edge simulations and testing shape the National Airspace System (NAS).

* Bridge research and operational application, ensuring innovative solutions are practical, safe, and ready for deployment across the aviation ecosystem.

* Conduct and guide research and development on technologies supporting the NAS, airport infrastructure, and air traffic management.

* Lead or contribute to design, testing, and innovation initiatives for next-generation aviation systems.

* Conceive, specify, design, program, document, testing, bug fix and patching software applications, both frontend and backend, as a part of a team.

* Lead the design and implementation of custom web application toward dynamic requirements.

* Need to be in-tune with changing requests and adapt accordingly.

* Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
* Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
* Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
* Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

* Participate in development of software user manuals.
* May support additional areas of the application as team needs change.

* May analyze/design databases and/or assist in architecting cloud environments within an application area, working individually or coordinating as part of a team. Why This Role Matters:
