Duties Help
* You will provide subject matter expertise to program stakeholders in the application of advanced concepts, principles, equipment, and test and evaluation techniques for aircraft propulsion systems and related components.
* You will manage a variety of technical disciplines and provide leadership to numerous technical personnel, and ensure technical requirements are met through proper tasking and coordination of available professional/technical resources.
* You will direct the planning of resources to accomplish major blocks of engineering, technical, or business endeavor for assigned program/project.
* You will develop and review program technical and mission documentation, provide authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues and ensure engineering requirements are met.

and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Aerospace Engineer, Chemical Engineer, and/or an Industrial Engineer equivalent to the STRL DP-04 Pay Band or equivalent GS Grade Level (GS-12/13) in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Examples of specialized experience for this position include: (1) Applying professional power and propulsion systems engineering working knowledge to provide technical oversight of aircraft system and associated system equipment; (2) Developing project planning objectives, including cost, schedule and performance for engineering development of current and long range weapons system programs; (3) Providing technical leadership and guidance to integrated program/project team members in support of assigned propulsion and power system and subsystem design, development, integration test and evaluation requirements;
and (4) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external to ensure assigned aviation program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
