Do you have a background or interest in Test and Evaluation of weapon systems? If so, we 're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL! We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking engineer to help us define test strategy, test design, and perform flight test analysis for Aegis Weapon System, Standard Missile, and other evolving weapon system programs.
This work includes developing scenarios to rigorously exercise weapon system capabilities and analyze data to validate and advance weapon system development. We are actively planning for future tests that integrate multiple Missile Defense Agency weapon systems in layered homeland defense scenarios, and taking on challenges such as hypersonic threat vehicles and raids. As a member of our team, you will craft scenario concepts that test new and evolving capabilities, conduct pre-flight mission analysis, interact with team members across the Air and Missile Defense Sector, and coordinate technical efforts across sponsor and contractor organizations.
