Overview
Will be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process. Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architectures. The Tools Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure.
In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.
- Be responsible for the IP Address Management (IPAM) process within the DDI Operations Team.
- Automate requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management.
- Develop automated solutions that effectively manage requirements, link source documents, and architectures.
- Collaborate with teams to identify, engineer, and implement optimal automated solutions that follow approved project or infrastructure processes.
- Work with all infrastructure support teams to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with automation, infrastructure, and productivity tools.
- Experienced IPAM Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 subnetting.
- DOD
8570-M, IAT Level 1.
