Systems Engineer Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on architecture, systems integration, and systems administration in support of JCMA activities.
• Integrate RF communication systems to enable monitoring for COMSEC vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with mission operators and developers to provide innovative solutions to difficult problems.
• Perform systems engineering tasks: technical problem solving, requirement specification, process development, risk analysis, and solutions design to advance cybersecurity mission success.
• Assist with installation of RF equipment, servers, and networking equipment, managing data center requirements.
• Support data path engineering efforts.
• Identify new and existing products, technologies, or architectures to solve design, development, and operational problems.
• Some travel within the United States will be required to support equipment delivery and installation requirements.

• A doctoral degree and no experience, or a master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, may be considered for individuals with in‑depth experience clearly related to the position.

• Cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with corporate data flows.

$127,000 - $143,000 a year. The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Compensation will be based on responsibilities, experience, and market data.
