We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with robust expertise in Solid Works 3D modeling to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing concepts to life by designing, modeling, and detailing high-quality mechanical components, parts, and assembly

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical principles, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) guidelines, ensuring our products are optimized for cost, quality, and performance

Key Responsibiliti
  • 3D Modeling & Design:
    Utilize Solid Works to create complex 3D parts, large assemblies, and highly accurate surface or solid model
  • 2D Technical Drafting:
    Generate detailed, production-ready 2D engineering drawings with appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack-up analyses, and material specification
  • Component Optimization:
    Redesign and optimize existing components to improve functionality, reduce weight, or lower manufacturing cost
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM):
    Design parts tailored for specific fabrication methods, including injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and casting
  • Collaboration & Prototyping:
    Partner with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and procurement) to build, test, and refine physical prototype
  • Data Management:
    Maintain engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials) and manage design files using PDM/PLM systems to ensure strict version control
Requireme
  • Education:

    Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
  • Experience:

    2–5+ years of professional experience in a mechanical design role
  • Software Mastery:
    Advanced proficiency in Solid Works is mandatory (CSWA, CSWP, or CSWE certifications are a major plus)
