Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for determining the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start‑up through production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents, establishing manufacturing methods, creating conceptual sketches, and initiating design and building required tooling. The role supports manufacturing operations to improve safety, ergonomics, on‑time delivery, productivity, and yields.

• Action planning, problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with direct manufacturing operations in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery to external customers.
• Ensure all related routing, fixtures, tooling, procedures, and processes are appropriate and safely in place for manufacturing.
• Focus on reduction in process variation, waste reduction, standard work creation, preventative maintenance, process and quality upsets, and optimized cell design.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control concepts and initiatives; participate in the New Product Introduction Team.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5‑7 years of professional experience (Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  Minitab is a plus.
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools, and tooling.
• Experience with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
• Knowledge of PLC programming a plus.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 – $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
