Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground
Description
* Support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies for DoD applications
* Focus on physiological monitoring systems, sensor integration, and human performance applications in operational environments
* Evaluate and integrate wearable and biosensor technologies
* Support development and testing of physiological monitoring systems
* Conduct analysis of sensor performance and data outputs
* Support prototype development and validation activities
* Assist with transition of technologies to operational use
* Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements Education/Training:
* Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
* 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
* Experience with wearable devices, bionsensors, or physiological data required
* Experience in test, validation, or lab environments required
* Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, ASTM) preferred
* Knowledge of human performance or medical systems preferred
* DoD or research lab experience preferred Security:
* Must be a US citizen
* Active Top Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements:
* Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
* Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
* Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
* Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits
