Senior Mechanical Engineer, Healthcare Facilities — BIM​/LEED

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and well rounded leader that possesses a professional degree in Architecture and registration in multiple states. At least 15 years experience with a significant portfolio of healthcare projects is required. This position could lead to a partnership in a very short time frame.

This position requires a professional architectural degree, registration and a minimum of 15 years experience in research facilities design including BSL level III & IV facilities. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills. This position should be of interest to those who are at, or near, shareholder level in their existing firm.

Our client, a major player in the design of healthcare facilities, is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in large healthcare facilities for a major hospital project. To be considered for this position you must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) and be a registered Professional Engineer with 10-15 years of progressive experience in the design of healthcare facilities.

You must also be proficient in AutoCAD. Experience with 3-D and BIM is highly desirable as is LEED NC accreditation and familiarity with life cycle cost methodologies.

Our client is searching for a highly motivated self-starter that can independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis. You will work with minimal supervision and have broad latitude in determining the objectives and approaches to your assignments. You will be expected to research, develop, and design a variety of HVAC and plumbing equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for hospitals and advanced laboratories.

BSL design experience is preferred, but not required, for this position.

Our client, a prominent national player in the healthcare, laboratory, and academic fields, is searching for a Studio Leader for their higher education practice. This position is based in a desirable southeast metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have a professional degree in architecture, multistate registration, be a LEED NC 2.1 (or higher) accredited professional and have a minimum of 20 years experience.

Recent management experience at the studio level is required.
