Micro Reactor Control Leader
US Citizenship REQUIRED Clearable - Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
OVERVIEW:
Will lead new Micro Reactor Control efforts.
KEYS:
- MUST have knowledge of reactivity controls
- Must have nuclear operational plant experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A PLUS (Preferred, NOT required)
- Exp in MATLAB/Simulink development for nuclear power plant apps.
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - NOT required:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Advanced degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink programming languages and scripting experience
- Familiarity with programming in any of these: C#, C++, Python, Visual Basic, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with industrial process control and control theory.
- Practical experience with power systems, thermal energy equipment, or industrial plants
- Knowledgeable about NQA-1 Quality Requirements
ROLE
DUTIES
- Develop analysis workflows and document them in an analysis plan in accordance with QA program.
- Perform plant modeling using MATLAB/Simulink. Examples: component sizing, operating ranges, performance verification, or accident analyses.
- Propose design/control solutions to system engineers, based on insights gained from the analyses.
- Write reports to document model.
