The WorkAs a Cyber Systems Engineer Staff you will:
- Engage with members of the PMO to provide schedule and milestone status, risk assessment/escalation, and participate in regular meetings and reporting activities with customer stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the program’s Chief Engineer on solution development to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capability Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – DoDAF, SOA etc.
- Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers.
- Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, system reviews, concepts of operation, interface standards, system architectures, and end‑to‑end flow analysis.
- Provide technical services assistance to government engineers in the creation, updating and management of system product line standards and databases.
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Work LocationOnsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work ScheduleStandard 40 hours over a five‑day work week with options for condensed schedules: 9‑x‑80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Pay & BenefitsAnnual base salary range (excluding most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC) is $123,500 – $217,695. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
