Job Description We are Lockheed Martin Flight Test Engineer supporting the F-35B and F-35C aircraft within the F-35 Integrated Test Force, NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. Position will work with military, contractor, and civil service personnel as members of the flight test team. Duties and responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and executing flight test mission requirements by:
• Developing and publishing test plans and flight test cards
• Determining and communicating aircraft test requirements and configuration to responsible engineering, maintenance, instrumentation, and flight operations personnel to ensure aircraft readiness
• Complying with published test safety plans and standard operating procedures
• Conducting test missions and performing mission briefs and debriefs
• Evaluating results from flight activities and incorporating "lessons learned" into future test activities
** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience;

or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Desired Skills

• Knowledge of test techniques for modern fighter aircraft
• Experience with and understanding the principals of Situational Awareness and Crew Resource Management
