PositionSummary
The Mechanical Engineer (Senior) will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical processes and systems for our innovative miniM ® technology.

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for biological wastewater treatment facilities utilizing M technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Collaborate with electrical engineers, controls engineers, process engineers, technicians, and designers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into project designs.
Conduct thorough analyses and evaluations of existing equipment and systems, identifying areas for improvement and proposing cost-effective solutions.
Perform detailed design calculations, feasibility studies, and simulations to validate system performance and optimize overall efficiency.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals.
Collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to ensure smooth execution of mechanical designs and troubleshoot any issues during the manufacturing process. Innovative
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in wastewater treatment technologies, specifically related to membrane bioreactor technology.
Participate in field visits, providing technical support and guidance to installation, commissioning, and maintenance teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job SkillsStrong knowledge of equipment, hydraulics, piping systems, electromechanical systems, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with membrane bioreactor technology, wastewater treatment processes, and automated control systems is preferred.
Proficient in using Solid Works 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for mechanical design and drafting. AutoCAD or equivalent 2D proficiency is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical design challenges.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information.
Self-starter;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks for multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven 5+ years of experience in process equipment manufacturing or mechanical design.
