The Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed Martins Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customers most difficult challenges. Some of our projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightning II.

• Rewards & recognition Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree

* Ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance with special program access

* Leadership system experience to include hiring, timecards, performance reviews, counseling, promotions, recognition, training, etc.

* Proven Flight Test experience Desired Skills
* Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline

* Security+ certification

* Experience in engineering documentation, configuration control and change boards, and systems management

* History interfacing directly with DoD customers Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
