Location: Laurel
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Radio Frequency Processing / Sensor Engineer to design, analyze, and test advanced RF and sensor systems for national security, space, and health missions. You will develop signal processing algorithms, model and simulate RF chains, and integrate sensor hardware in lab and field environments. Collaborating with multidisciplinary experts, you'll turn mission needs into innovative, ethical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design and analyze RF processing chains and sensor architectures for national security and space missions.
- Develop and implement signal processing algorithms for detection, tracking, and classification.
- Model, simulate, and prototype RF and sensor systems using tools such as MATLAB or Python.
- Integrate, test, and troubleshoot RF hardware and sensor payloads in lab and field environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
- Document designs, test plans, and results; present findings to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Support experiment planning, data collection, and performance analysis for RF and sensor systems.
