Submarine Combat System Test and Evaluation Analyst

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Submarine Combat System Test and Evaluation Analyst to advance U.S. undersea war fighting capabilities. In the Defense & Aerospace sector within our Scientific Research & Development department, you will design and execute T&E of submarine combat and sonar systems, analyze mission data, and translate results into actionable recommendations. Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute test and evaluation activities for submarine combat systems and subsystems.
• Analyze laboratory, at-sea, and simulation data to assess system performance and mission effectiveness.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and metrics aligned with Navy and Do
• D T&E standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and Navy stakeholders to define requirements and test objectives.
• Prepare clear technical reports, briefings, and recommendations to inform acquisition and fleet decisions.
• Support modeling, simulation, and digital engineering efforts to augment live testing.
• Contribute to the development of innovative T&E methods for emerging undersea capabilities.
