RF Systems / Radio Hardware Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an RF Systems / Radio Hardware Engineer to support a defense client in Aberdeen, MD. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and troubleshooting advanced RF communication systems and custom radio hardware throughout the full product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF signal chains, FPGA-based systems, embedded hardware integration, and hands-on laboratory testing using RF test equipment.

This role will collaborate closely with embedded software, FPGA, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to develop next-generation communication capabilities in support of mission-critical defense programs. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. $40/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
