Job Title
Required Skills & Experience
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience designing and developing embedded electronic systems, including schematic design, component selection, PCB development, and hardware bring-up
Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, SoCs, and associated peripheral circuitry
Experience developing or integrating avionics, flight control hardware, robotics systems, or other real-time embedded platforms
Working knowledge of embedded interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, and Ethernet
Experience developing, modifying, or debugging embedded firmware using C/C++ or similar programming languages
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other laboratory equipment
Experience integrating sensors, communications devices, and embedded peripherals into larger system architectures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting UAS, robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace platforms, or other defense-related technologies
Experience with flight controllers, IMUs, GNSS receivers, ESCs, servos, motor controls, and avionics systems
Experience integrating cameras, image sensors, video processing hardware, or electro-optical systems
Familiarity with high-speed camera and imaging interfaces such as MIPI CSI, USB, or Ethernet
Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal firmware development
Familiarity with STM
32, NXP, TI, Microchip, NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi Compute Module, or similar embedded platforms
Experience supporting power distribution, battery-powered systems, DC/DC conversion, and power integrity design
Understanding of PCB layout considerations for mixed-signal, high-speed digital, and compact embedded systems
Familiarity with PX4, Ardu Pilot, MAVLink, ROS, or ROS 2 environments
Experience rapidly prototyping, integrating, and testing custom embedded hardware solutions in operational or laboratory environments
Job Description
$45/hr to $65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
