Miltec UV has an immediate opportunity for a creative, hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Stevensville, Maryland. Come join our team and work alongside our talented engineers and UV experts as we advance environmentally friendly technologies, processes and systems for the future!

Design, develop, and qualify electromechanical components and sub-assemblies used in UV Curing systems. Works with reasonable independence at the sub-assembly or system level.

• Design, develop, and qualify UV Curing equipment (components, products, systems) based on customer requirements.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to solve complex mechanical design problems.
• Develop product requirements documents (PRD) based on input from Customers, Sales, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Process Engineering.
• Assist Custom Projects Engineering Manager in documenting and releasing designs as directed.
• Prepare and execute test plans to validate product performance.
• Coordinate and direct the creation of all documentation required to support the project.
• Work with electrical and software engineers as required to develop machine control systems.
• Use industry‑standard guidelines to develop sheet metal, machined, extruded, cast, welded, molded, chemically machined, and thermoformed components which result in cost‑competitive products that meet our customer's requirements.
