About This Role Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs.
The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.
Responsibilities Designing and developing mixed signal electronic designs
Developing schematics in standard design tools
Analyzing circuit designs
Working in a collaborative and cross-functional discipline environment
Qualifications5+ years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design
Bachelor of Science Power Supply design experience
Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICEPerformed simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst-Case Circuit Analysis)
Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses Capable of basic modification of component models.
Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICEFamiliarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging
Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout
Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses
Active security clearance required; eligibility for SAP clearance is required.
