Why We Need Your Talents:
As a Player Development Coordinator, you will provide a wide range of administrative and specialized project-based support for the Vice President of Player Development at Maryland Live! Casino & Hotel. Those with the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills will do well in this role. Maintaining a balance while managing multiple priorities is imperative.

The Player Development Coordinator must be able to, at times, work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly answer telephone calls with appropriate greeting with a friendly and sincere welcome using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Portray positive body language as guests are entering high limit areas on the gaming floor.
  • Routinely pull and review with VP of PD reporting from HMS, Dynamics CRM 365, , Accounting Checkbook and other Casino Marketing.
  • Provide administrative support to VP of PD; assist with the booking and processing of guest accommodations, hotel reservations, tier benefits and travel arrangements.
  • Answer inquiries, offer suggestions, and provide literature pertaining to gaming machines, tables, outlets, and Live! Rewards benefits.
  • Participate in the operations of RM Events, offsite and onsite.
  • Attend department meetings as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Loyalty and HMS.
  • Provide an unsurpassed level of service to our V.I.P players.
  • Communicate all service suggestions to the required Casino host, Security, Beverage, or Gaming employee department.
  • Responsible for keeping the suite arrivals, telemarketing, special event and ticketing lists updated.
  • Organizes Player Development Marketing materials in an efficient manner paying attention to detail.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Performs all related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Player Development.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in related function.
  • Hospitality, touring or travel agency experience is preferred.
  • College degree in a related field is preferred. Adminstrative, Business Management, Hospitality, Marketing etc.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to:
    • Stand for extended periods of time.
    • Reach for specific objects at short distances in local working area.
    • Sit 60% of the time.
    • Occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Use of stairs and elevators.
