Job Title
Indie Campers is a world leader in road trip travel, with one of the largest fleets of campervans and motorhomes globally. Our field teams play a key role in ensuring a smooth customer experience and clean, safe, and road-ready vehicles. The Operations Agent is a practical and operational role combining customer service, vehicle preparation, and cleaning, basic technical support, and commercial support.
You will accompany the customer throughout their journey: vehicle preparation, check-in, check-out, assistance during the rental, and support for motorhome demonstrations if necessary.
Performing check-ins and check-outs, presenting vehicles, and assisting customers during their rental. Cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles and preparing campervans with kits, bedding, essentials, and options. Inspecting vehicles upon return to identify damages, missing items, or operational issues. Supporting commercial demonstrations by explaining the features and systems of motorhomes. Identifying sales opportunities and assisting the RV Sales team with customer information and documents.
Managing cleaning products, kits, consumables, and equipment, while maintaining an organized depot. Explaining basic vehicle systems, such as lighting, gas, and water, resolving simple issues, and escalating situations if necessary.
Experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, rental, cleaning, warehouse, automotive, or operations. Good communication and customer service skills. Great attention to detail and commitment to quality, hygiene, and presentation. Reliable, punctual, organized, practical, and solution-oriented. Ability to understand and explain basic vehicle or motorhome systems. Driver’s license, category
B. Proficiency in English. Plus: experience with CRM, rental systems, sales software, proficiency in the local language, and experience in campervans, tourism, automotive, or mobility. This role requires regular physical activity: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying items up to 15 kg, and working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions. You will need to use cleaning products safely and show flexibility to work weekends, holidays, peak seasons, and respond to operational emergencies.
You will also need to interact with customers in different situations, remaining calm, empathetic, and professional.
