Front Desk Associate

Most front desk jobs are about checking people in. This one is not.

At TNT Strong, our Front Desk Associates are the face of the facility, the energy behind the member experience, and a big part of what makes our community different. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

We are one of Southern Maryland's leading fitness facilities, located in Prince Frederick. Our 20,000+ sq ft facility offers 24/7 gym access, personal training, semi-private strength coaching, group training, nutrition coaching, recovery amenities including saunas and showers, and on-site childcare, inside a high-energy, community-driven culture.

Welcome and acknowledge every member and guest. Check members in and help with account needs. Answer calls, texts, emails and member questions. Help prospective members with questions and schedule consultations. Support membership sales and promotions. Keep the front desk and lobby clean and organized. Make sure memberships and billing information stay current. Stay informed on all TNT Strong services, programs and promotions.

Support coaches, management and other departments. Complete shift checklists and operational tasks. Contribute to team goals and club success.

Customer service, front desk, hospitality, retail or fitness experience is preferred. Basic computer skills required; experience with scheduling or CRM systems is a plus.

Starting pay $15.00 to $16.50 per hour, based on experience. Commission opportunities available on memberships, programs and select services sold. Part-time and full-time opportunities; minimum availability of 30 hours per week preferred. Morning, evening and weekend availability required.

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to our Prince Frederick facility.

Full-time employees average at least 35 hours per week and become eligible for TNT Strong company-sponsored benefits after a 90-day introductory period: paid vacation starting at 10 days per year, increasing to 12 days at 2 years and 15 days at 4+ years; 40 hours of company-paid sick leave per benefit year; 16 hours of paid personal leave per benefit year;

and six paid eight-hour holiday credits for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Part-time employees receive benefits required by law plus any additional benefits TNT Strong makes available to their classification.

All employees receive Maryland Earned Sick and Safe Leave as required by law. Complimentary employee gym access and complimentary childcare are available during eligible periods, subject to facility rules, capacity and program terms. TNT Strong does not currently sponsor a group health insurance plan.

Other compensation for this role includes commission on memberships, programs and select services sold.
