This is a full-time, on-site position located in Forest Hill, MD, for a Mortgage Loan Officer. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, guiding clients through the mortgage lending process, assisting with loan applications, and ensuring all transactions are in compliance with underwriting and regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include analyzing clients financial documents, collaborating with underwriting teams, and providing exceptional customer service to all borrowers.
Qualifications- Expertise in Mortgage Lending, Mortgage Industry, and Loan Officer practices
- Strong understanding of Underwriting standards and processes
- Exceptional Customer Service skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients
- Proven experience in loan origination or similar financial services roles
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local lending regulations
- Proficiency with loan processing software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred
