Founded in 1957, the Government Employees Benefit Association (GEBA) is a Maryland-based not-for-profit serving federal employees, retirees, military members, and their families with investment services and supplemental insurance benefits.

Position Summary

GEBA Wealth Management is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join its growing team, which manages more than $480 million for 2,600 households. The ideal candidate will proactively engage with leads and referrals, building relationships that convert prospects into satisfied investment clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective and existing members
• Develop and present customized financial plans
• Provide investment and insurance recommendations
• Conduct account reviews and identify planning opportunities
• Deliver seminars on retirement, Social Security, and financial planning

Qualifications

• Series 7 and Series 63/65 or 66 licenses
• Life & Health Insurance license
• Experience in a client-facing financial advisory role
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• CFP® designation (or willingness to pursue) preferred
• Experience with federal employees and Money Guide Pro  is a plus
• Competitive compensation: approximately 75% salary / 25% team incentive
