Municipal Police Officer

The town hall of Auxonne is recruiting a municipal police officer. Auxonne, a town of 7600 inhabitants, is located between Dole and Dijon, with a nearby train station (easy access, transport passes accepted). Under the authority of the head of the municipal police service, you will ensure the surveillance of public order, tranquility, security, and cleanliness. Execute municipal police duties: administrative police: prevention/surveillance of public order, tranquility, security, cleanliness.

Judicial police: enforce and issue fines for violations of municipal ordinances, road code, laws, and regulations within the competence of the Municipal Police. Perform interventions on thefts, damages, accidents, noise, intoxication, neighborhood conflicts... Funeral operations. Vacation tranquility operations (VTO). Speed control. Control of lighting and noise nuisances: cycles, mopeds... Cemetery work constat. Deputy registrar of market fees: placement of traders on Friday and night markets, collection of market fees.

Ensure administrative work: management of used equipment. Writing of letters, reports, minutes. Keeping records and minute books, management of found objects. Conducting and transcribing administrative surveys. Ensure video protection: monitor recordings. Operate video functions.

Apply and control the respect of the mayor's police powers on his territory of intervention. Inform preventively the residents of the regulations in force. Collect information, transmit it to the hierarchy and follow the results. Quickly analyze a situation or unforeseen events. Report, in writing or orally, to the superior authority the events that occurred during the service and the measures taken.

Establish and write activity reports, mission reports of islanding and prevention. Develop information and dialogue with the population. Apply the instructions aimed at maintaining the activity and safety of the premises, service agents, and the public received. Know and apply the techniques of conflict resolution and mediation. Master the prerogatives of the municipal police, the rights and obligations of the public officials in possession of the public authority.

Know the regulations and procedures applicable (powers of the mayor, code and functioning of judicial institutions and criminal procedures). Respect the code of ethics, sense of public service, respect for public freedoms. Show analysis, discernment, and adaptation. Objectively transcribe facts by issuing explicit reports. Show rigor, a strong team spirit, and autonomy. Be available. Have a keen sense of public service, good physical condition.

Have a sense of listening, mediation, calm, and strong self-control. Respect the deontological code.

Municipal police framework. The municipal police of Auxonne is equipped with: B1: PSA. B6: PIE (in progress). B: large capacity tear gas bomb. D: telescopic protection baton, small capacity tear gas bomb. Statutory remuneration + indemnity regime; lunch vouchers, CNAS.

Working conditions:
