Nail Technician

Job Summary

The Nail Technician performs professional nail, hand, and foot treatments, applying polish neatly and maintaining sanitation, while utilizing basic massage techniques. They must hold a current state license, meet retail sales goals, and communicate effectively with guests.

• Be punctual, perform services within allotted time.
• Provide consistent professional nail treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Be flexible with schedule.
• Care for equipment and use proper product quantities.
• Educate guests on services and products.
• Actively promote home‑care programs and meet sales goals.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards.
• Prepare and clean work area as required.
• Report issues to management.
• Upsell spa treatments, services, and retail.
• Handle guest questions professionally.
• Provide accurate responses for guest satisfaction.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
• Attend and support training and meetings.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Assist in various spa operations as requested.

• Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication, listening, and basic computer skills.
• Team player.
• Maintain a serene spa setting during treatments.

• Current Maryland State license.
• Prefer 1 year experience in a spa setting.
