Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Setting: Outpatient

Location: Nova Care Rehabilitation, Owings Mills (Foundry), MD
Compensation: $29–$35/hour

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you’ll be part of a collaborative and compassionate clinical environment that values personalized care and professional growth.

• Treat a diverse patient population from teens to older adults
• Work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive, mentorship-driven setting
• Gain exposure to a wide range of specialties, including:
  • Orthopedics
  • Neuro & vestibular rehabilitation
  • Concussion management
  • Sports medicine
  • ReVital cancer rehabilitation
  • Dry needling
  • Fall prevention programs

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Two evening shifts per week (last patient scheduled one hour before close)

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
