Overview
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist for a job in Glyndon, Maryland. This is a per diem opportunity (ongoing) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time consideration. Office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout the Maryland area, including West Baltimore County (Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Randallstown, and Pikesville).

- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility and range of motion, transfer status, stability, ambulation patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapy, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Continuously assess and revise the PT care plan and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
- Educate clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care to promote health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in client care management, utilizing a state-of-the-art touchpad tablet.
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist license (PT).
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) of the AMA, as indicated by transcripts or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
