Location: Kensington
Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist an older adult client living at home with family support.
The client requires assistance due to age-related medical and cognitive conditions and is currently receiving hospice support services. Care focuses on providing comfort, safety, supervision, and assistance with daily living activities.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate — caregiver must be committed to all scheduled shifts.
Care Responsibilities May Include- Personal care and incontinence assistance
- Companionship and supervision
- Mobility and safety support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Dementia-related support and redirection
- Client lives at home with spouse
- Dog present in the home
- Hospice team involved in care
- CNA, HHA, or experienced caregiver preferred
- Experience with dementia and hospice care strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to commit consistently to assigned schedule
