Licensed by the State of Maryland, we specialize in a wide range of procedures including pain management, orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, spine, and sports medicine. The Surgical/Sterile Processing Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and decontaminates, cleans, processes, and sterilizes surgical instruments and medical equipment. This individual maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures, prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures, and supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Pay Range: $31.68/hr.

- $45/hr.

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
