Counselor
The Employee Assistance Program is a planned initiative to offer confidential counseling and support services to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) employees, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and workplace concerns through remote and virtual delivery.
Duties:
- Provide assessment, short-term counseling, referral, and follow-up
- Conduct intake and obtain signed Statement of Understanding
- Maintain case notes and compliance with confidentiality regulations
- Respond to emergency counseling needs 24/7
- Work with diverse employee populations across NRC regions
Qualifications:
- Master's in clinical mental health field
- Active state license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist)
- Competence in substance abuse assessment
- Experience with workplace behavioral health
