Visiting Occupational Therapist (OT), Day Shift, Home Health - Southern

Overview

Adventist Health Care Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the Southern Maryland region. Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $12,000. The role supports our mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

• Communicate with team members, customers and managers to coordinate care plans and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments following agency policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement therapy knowledge, develop patient‑care plans, and set appropriate outcome goals.
• Complete documentation requirements promptly and accurately.
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administer and supervise therapy treatments for patients with diverse health conditions under physician/podiatrist orders.
• Coordinate patient care with other skilled providers to plan, implement, and access treatment programs.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• 2–3 years of experience, with 1 year of home‑care experience preferred.
• Maryland Occupational Therapy license.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with agency insurance requirements.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Full‑time, 40hrs/week;
Monday‑Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM. Shift type: days. Weekend and holiday work: once per month, rotating within the team.

Pay range: $34.58–$51.87 per hour.
