Sterile Processing Technician Certified at Prince Frederick Surgery Center

Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedics, Interventional Pain, General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Podiatry.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
  • Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers
  • Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Hourly Wage Range:
Min $20.58 to Max $29.84 per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
