Location: Centreville

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving young learners in the Centreville, MD area and its nearby communities. This assignment supports a PreK-2 program, running from October 1st to December 23rd, making it ideal for professionals seeking a defined, impactful role during the fall.

What You’ll Need:

  • Current Maryland State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working within school-based settings, especially with early elementary (PreK-2) students
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and support staff

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students across a caseload of approximately 50
  • Manage documentation and IEP processes in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain clear communication regarding student progress, timelines, and service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and provide expertise on student needs related to communication and language development

Role Structure:

  • Contract position:
    PreK-2 school near Centreville, MD and neighboring towns
  • Schedule:

    7 hours per day with a half-hour unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday
  • Assignment period:
    October 1st - December 23rd

This short-term role is perfect for dedicated SLPs with a passion for early intervention and collaborative education.

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.22 to $55.22.
