Additional Compensation:
Annual bonuses (variable depending on office and performance) and overtime opportunities are available at FPCA’s After Hours Clinic (eligible after 6 months of employment based on performance)
Schedule:
Full Time (4-day work week, 7:30 AM - 5 PM)

Medical Assistant Job duties include
:
- Taking patient vital signs to be reported to your supervising provider
- Using Athena EMR to track patient complains and histories to ensure optimal long-term care
- Administer immunizations to ensure optimal preventative care
- Following up with patients and their requests via phone
- Triaging patients experiencing medical emergencies
- Discussing medications and their effects with patients under provider supervision
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous cardiology or specialty practice experience is preferred
- Must possess strong clinical as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Strong technology aptitude
- Prior experience in the field is required
