Speech Pathologist
Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with PreK-2 students for a dedicated FMLA coverage this fall. This contract role spans from October 1 through December 23, offering the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a supportive and engaging school environment.
In this position, youll provide essential speech and language services while collaborating closely with educators and families to promote student growth and success. Your day will consist of a full 7-hour schedule, including a half-hour unpaid lunch break, ensuring balanced workdays.
Preferred Qualifications:- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Prior experience in a school setting with early childhood/elementary students is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and fostering inclusive learning environments
- Conduct formal speech and language assessments for PreK-2 students
- Provide direct, individualized, and group therapy services
- Manage student caseloads, maintain detailed records, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement intervention plans
- Participate in case management, IEP development, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Compensation for this position ranges from $30.22 to $60.22.
