Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacist II

Direct hire may go hybrid after training - will be hybrid 3 days in 2 off Critical Personnel

A.

Required qualifications:

1) Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supporting formulary, prior authorization, benefits design, and clinical information.
2) Pharm.

D with current active pharmacist license in Maryland (or shall be acquired within 6 months of system implementation).
3) Previous experience in PRO and RETRO-DUR.
4) Knowledge of clinical pharmacy and drug products information to support plan benefit design.
5) Specialized training in psychotropic medications. Must be BCPP required (Board Cert Psychiatric Pharmacy).

B.

Preferred qualifications:

1) Previous experience in supporting call center prior authorization functionality and development.

C. Responsibilities:
1) Oversee clinical services related to psychotropic medications and to consult and make recommendations to prescribers when necessary.
2) Must be 100% dedicated to the contract.
3) Must be located at contractor's local facility.
