Location: Centreville

Step into an exciting opportunity to provide speech-language services in a supportive school environment this fall. This contract position is perfect for an SLP with their CCC who thrives on making a real difference for young learners. Covering a maternity leave from October through December, youll work with PreK through 2nd grade students, providing pivotal communication support during a crucial stage in their development.

Youll collaborate with educators and families to deliver direct therapy, manage assessments, and oversee case management for a caseload of approximately 50 students. This full-time school assignment is structured as a 7-hour day, offering the chance to build strong, lasting relationships while supporting student achievement.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, IEP, and case management skills
  • Comfortable with PreK-2nd grade populations
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide consultative support to teachers and families
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
