6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am Days:
Monday to Friday

2 Shifts
- Hours:

6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am Days:
Saturday and Sundays

Hours:

Less than 30 hours per week Pay:
Hourly $18.00

Position Overview

Arundel Lodge is seeking an On-Call Rehabilitation Specialist to provide flexible staffing support and direct services to individuals receiving behavioral health and psychosocial rehabilitation services.

The On-Call Rehabilitation Specialist plays an important role in supporting individuals in their recovery while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community participation.

This position is ideal for an individual who is compassionate, dependable, flexible, and committed to helping people achieve their personal goals.

The On-Call Rehabilitation Specialist may be contacted to provide coverage based on program needs and the employee's availability. Work schedules and assignments may vary.

On-Call Availability

Because this is an On-Call position, employees are expected to provide an Open Availability List identifying the days and times they are generally available to work.

Availability will be considered when making staffing assignments; however, submission of availability does not guarantee hours or shifts.

Employees are responsible for keeping their availability current and communicating changes to their supervisor or designated scheduling contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with establishing and maintaining daily routines.
  • Prompt and assist residents with starting their day.
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Provide support with household activities, including cleaning and cooking.
  • Assist with scheduling and attending appointments.
  • Facilitate transportation and provide transportation-related support as required.
  • Monitor medication in accordance with program policies and assigned responsibilities.
  • Provide general caregiving and supportive services.
  • Encourage and support individuals in developing skills that promote independence.
  • Support individuals in their recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use.
  • Promote self-determination, personal choice, dignity, and independence.
  • Recognize and build upon each individual's strengths and abilities.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and respectful relationships with individuals served.
  • Communicate important information to supervisors and members of the individual's support team.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Arundel Lodge policies, procedures, and program requirements.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
