Responsibilities- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and fulfilling their dreams with a person-centered focus.
- Teach independent living and daily skills, addressing social, environmental, and health care needs such as grooming and personal care.
- Actively plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and community outings.
- Instruct, support, and participate in household tasks such as cleaning, preparing meals, and food shopping.
- Earned high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to communicate effectively with the individuals served.
- Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special needs populations (rehabilitation settings, nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, behavioral health settings, etc.).
