Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting their communication needs within an encouraging educational environment. This full-time or part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate and experienced speech-language pathologist who enjoys collaboration and variety throughout the school year.

Youll have the chance to work with a diverse K-12 caseload, primarily supporting spot fill needs. Services are provided onsite only and span multiple school settings near Denton, MD. The role includes care for students in both self-contained high school classrooms (moderate to severe needs) and as an itinerant clinician across various school sites, allowing you to apply your expertise in different learning environments and broaden your professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in Maryland school settings highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
  • Flexibility to manage a changing caseload and work across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Adapt to the needs of a dynamic caseload, providing support as required at both primary and itinerant locations

This contract role offers flexibility, the ability to choose full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time hours, and the rewarding experience of servicing a supportive district focused on student success.
