We are seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Liaison to join our skilled nursing facility team. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth admissions process while delivering excellent customer service to residents, families, and referral partners.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the admissions process for new residents
- Communicate effectively with hospitals, families, referral sources, and internal teams
- Verify insurance benefits and coverage eligibility
- Review clinical documentation and ensure accurate data entry
- Maintain timely and accurate records in the EMR system
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and families
- Collaborate closely with nursing, social services, and administration
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting (required)
- Experience with EMR systems in long-term care (required)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with insurance verification and benefits
- Ability to work every other weekend (required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
